Acer Aspire S7 Ultrabook equipped with two batteries

Beautiful and powerful, this Aspire S7 11.6-inch diagonal ultrabook is successful. Only its built-in battery is hard to keep up. Fortunately, Acer delivers second to double the endurance of her foal.

The promise 
The Aspire S7 embodies the high-end ultrabooks from Acer.
Announced in two screen sizes, the manufacturer had first released the 13.3 inch model, the Aspire S7-391. Reality 
This Acer Aspire S7 is clearly poaching on the lands of the 11.6-inch MacBook Air from Apple. This new ultrabook laptop design is very well done, fun to use and powerful enough to surf the Internet, do some office and use some multimedia applications. Its 11.6-inch touch screen allows you to navigate through the menus of Windows 8 fingertips easily. You can also use the backlit keyboard and multi-gesture touchpad to work, surf, etc.. Good point, the screen is in good order. And to use it at home, in conditions of comfort, Acer provides a small Bluetooth mouse natively recognized by the machine.
The endurance of the device is 2 hours and 43 minutes of video playback. However, it is doubled when you use the second removable battery delivered. The latter caught a little overweight (1.5 cm) and weight (200 g) to the device that is not enough battery-end (1.4 cm thick) and lightweight (1 kg without second battery). With its reduced size, the Aspire S7 is a laptop that fits in a briefcase or backpack easily and can therefore follow you everywhere. A nice touch 

The 11.6-inch screen diagonal (29.46 cm) displays a beautiful image, light and contrast. The definition of IPS (1920 by 1080 pixels) is paradoxically-a little too high for the size of the screen. The icons are quite small, like the fonts. In fact, the navigation in Windows 8 touch-pleasant-good is not as accurate as on machines with larger screens. Fortunately, you can count on the touchpad and well proportioned on the keyboard to separate key (chiclet) and backlit to assist you in steering the vehicle. Moreover, thanks to a small light sensor, the backlight of the keys (and the screen) varies depending on the ambient lighting. Practice not to strain your eyes when working in the dark.
