Tips & Tricks: Access to the Internet in your iPad without Internet


3G is not necessary to use the tablet for any occasion. It is even possible to read web pages without visiting the web!
Only 3G tablets can overcome Wi-Fi Internet access. What if your device does not have 3G? You can, of course,
you simply use the documents stored in the device memory, but storage can not splurge! Some films and series episodes, a little music, books and here are 16 or 32 GB occupied. Not to mention that without 3G or Wi-Fi, the files stored online on Google Drive, Dropbox or iCloud are no longer accessible. Unless you have taken the precaution of downloading them first to the shelf some documents and multimedia content.
A little trick you can however continue to make the most of your equipment when you are away from an access point wireless. But you must give up some apps unable to function without the Internet. Before hitting the road, follow our tips for evaluating their effectiveness in the panel setting often Tablet Settings, switch to airplane mode to disable all connections.

01> Install the application on Pocket Slate





Free App makes available all kinds of offline resources: websites, tweets or information from RSS feeds. The principle? Whenever a resource you want, you add it to your Pocket account. It stores all the content you want to make available without being connected. To download Pocket, visit the App Store. Then create a free account by specifying a user name and a password.

Then tap the Safari browser icon that appears on the home screen of the iPad. In the address bar, enter the address of the web page that you intend to make available offline. Wait until the site is displayed in full, then press the Share button that is to the left of the address bar. A new component is deployed: you simply activate the Copy command. The address of the page and copied to the clipboard.

Relaunch the application Pocket. At the bottom of the screen, a headband offers to retrieve the contents of the clipboard. Accept by pressing the Add button. The site appears as a thumbnail. Wait Pocket eventually repatriate elements needed to display the Web page in offline mode (images, text, etc.).. You can use Pocket similarly for storing your Twitter messages.

04> Configure your Dropbox


To view and edit files on your Dropbox when you're not connected to the Internet, you must use the Favorites feature. Open the application Dropbox. In the tree pane displaying the virtual hard disk, tap the Favorites button (indicated by a star). This is where files will be placed available offline.

To grant a status file and be as Favorite access even when the tablet is out of range of an access point Wi-Fi, just select it in the left pane of the application Dropbox. File, whether an image, a text document or a compressed ZIP archive, is displayed in the center of the screen. In the toolbar, touch the star-shaped. The paper joins the list of favorites, status spotted the blue star in front of the name. Dropbox download a copy of these files in the memory of the iPad. It will operate the remote synchronization with Dropbox when a connection becomes available.
