Facebook ''Trusted Contacts'' uses your real friends if someone hacking into your account

has decided to adopt a new layer of security to protect its users. The site since 2011 on board a new option called "trusted contacts", he finally begins to deploy for a few days.

The concept? Generate multiple passwords that are sent back to trusted friends. Facebook asks you to choose between three and five. Each code is unique. If ever an attacker hacking into your account and change your key, you can regain control through these different passwords by contacting the relatives. The idea is to choose someone you can easily reach in case of problems. And most importantly, someone reliable. Your parents, brothers and sisters, your best friends. In short, people who you would leave without blinking the keys to your home.



This new security measure is optional. You can activate it in some time or not in your account settings. If you enable the trusted friends you select will be notified by Facebook the key role they will have to play in case of hacking your profile.
