Sideways project: Ads follow your eyes in supermarkets

An advertising system  is able to track your eye movements while you shop, was created by researchers at the University of Lancaster in the UK.
Sideways project uses software to
detect faces and eye movements buyers captured by the camera.

This could allow video screens change ads depending on what you look in a store. The team said it hoped that the technology would be used in stores in the next five years.

The technology can also be used to allow people to use their eyes to control the content on the screens, like scroll list items.
